I asked you a lot of times about a question that annoy me but you didn't answer me !!!!!!!!!!!!
What's the difference between I haven't and I don't have ???!!!
Please answer me !!! I'm waitting for your answer !! Thanks ..
Hello Manar,
I answered this question several times, but apparently you aren't getting notifications for it. My answer was:
"Hello,
This is a very good question.
Grammatically, according to the grammar books I checked, the negation of "have" is "don't/ doesn't have". For example, I have an apple; I don't have an apple.
So basically, we usually use "don't have" when it's followed by a noun. ( e.g. I don't have time; he doesn't have a job) And we use "haven't" when it's followed by a verb (e.g. I haven't visited Japan yet; she hasn't finished work yet)
