[Tip] Decent vs. Descent

Decent is an adjective. It means socially correct. I also means sufficient for the purpose.

* Descent is a noun. It means a movement downward, or properties attributable to your ancestry.


Examples:

He is from a decent family.

It's a decent wage.

His entire line of descent has been warriors.

They found out that they were of Welsh descent.
