1-catch somebody red-handed means that you catch him just after doing wrong.
example : "i cought my co-worker red-handed after he had walked out of my boss's office"

2-like father like son means A child grows up to be very similar to his parents in the way they act or in their physical abilities.
*the similar proverb is "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree"

3-stop doing means stop the progress of the action.hence, stop to do means to refrain of doing a habit.further more to stop doing something you usually do it.

4-the first mistake is that tag question in"sometimes,i have troubles with my grammar, isn't it?" the mistake here is "isn't it" which has no sens.he should say "don't i?" instaed of that "isn't it".
the second mistake is when he said:"sometimes,i perfect(1)but othertimes i don't(2)won't that(3)?"
(1) he had to say:"sometimes i AM perfect"not i perfect.
(2)he had to say:"but othertimes i'm not" not i don't.
(3)i don't understand why he's in love with tag questions,i think he had to say:sometimes i'm perfect,but othertimes i'm not.i don't know why!"

5-it's a towel.
