[Tip] However and Nevertheless

Both however and nevertheless are sentence connectors. They are used to convey the same unexpected result; but we can't always use them as synonyms. see more

We disliked each other, nevertheless we agreed.

She wished they would be less loud, nevertheless could not help being amused.
