[Tip] during/ while/ for




*Use 'for' with a period of time to express the duration or 'how long' something has happened.

*Use "during" with a noun.

*Use "while" with a verb clause.
Examples:

I've known them for five years.
I heard someone calling you name outside during the class.
He was talking on the phone while he was driving.
